The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Green Vehicle
Guide gives all light duty vehicles two emissions scores: a Greenhouse Gas Score
and an Air Pollution Score. The scores range from 1 to 10, with 10 being the
least polluting. Altima Hybrid received at least a 9 on both emissions scores to
earn SmartWay® Elite certification.
